tumblr-tutorial:

Step 1. Open your Photoshop and open your image (open>select the image)

Step 2. Duplicate the layer (Layer>Right click>Duplicate layer>Ok)

Step 3. Go to the layer tab at the top of the screen and click layer>layer style>blending options

Step 4. This window will appear, you will see an option called Advanced Blending. You have to check only ”R” the other letters ” G and B” have to be unchecked. When you are done, click Ok.

Step 5. Use this tool  and move the layer carefully to the right.
